This Year Liliane and Roland Foundation have had the pleasure of running a few programs designed to motivate seniors and other generations to volunteer and encourage seniors to participate in the community by mentoring others.
These programs will encourage elderly to participate in and be included in society by providing support for both new and ongoing senior-focused community initiatives and services.
The art therapy encourages seniors to tap into their inner creativity, by allowing them to explore their thoughts and emotions in a safe and supportive environment. Engaging in artistic activities can help improve cognitive function in aging adults, promoting enhanced memory, concentration, and problem-solving skills.
This activity is a safe option of physical activity for older adults as it is a form of exercise that is low in demand. Tai Chi training aims to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness, as well as increasing concentration and reduce feelings of anxiety and stress.
Liliane and Roland Foundation were thrilled to welcome the young people of tomorrow to help them explore a diverse range of opportunities, while providing them with high-quality job experience. At Liliane and Roland Foundation, we want to give them chances to grow and enhance their abilities, while focusing on national and local objectives that promote young people who face challenges accessing the labor market.
This program is designed to promote the French language together with the cultural and linguistic diversity in Canadian society. By enhancing the vitality of English- and French-speaking minority communities, Liliane and Roland Foundation aim to support education, training, higher education and research, while fostering economic cooperation to promote sustainable development.
